It was exactly the kind of setting Charlie Frazier would have expected. Theodore was so damned predictable. His brother had always had a penchant for the finer things of life, and this was no exception. The sign said it all''CRESTVIEW ON THE HARBOR"and it was straight ahead. Another smaller, far less pretentious sign directed deliveries to another entrance to the left.
The guard at the gate wore the conventional security force uniformgray epauletted shirt with a yellow patch on the shoulder, meticulously creased blue gabardine trousers and black shoes. He was young, all of 20 perhaps, and it was obvious he took his job seriously.
